Infrastructure Consultant - SC cleared - 3months+ - Inside IR35**SC Clearance is a necessityJefferson Frank are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Consultant to work with one of our clients who are a UK based consultancy working on a 3 month contract inside IR35.For this role we would like to find out about your recent projects, demonstrating your skill and proven application of the below technologies. Project Consultant role is to transition solutions into the client and 3rd party Data Centres, to meet planned budgets and timescales.To ensure that all necessary support documentation is amended to reflect any implementation made and ensure handover and knowledge transfer to onshore and offshore support teams.Must be able to work on own initiative.May need to work remotely, home based or customers sites. Key SkillsPerform OS Install / Patching / Firmware updates in line with best practices.Maintain security and documentation standards (ISO90001 AND ISO27001).Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Identify and assess technical issues and risks. EssentialStrong understanding of ITIL and Change Management MethodologyAdvanced Cisco IOS skills & experienceStrong familiarity with a wide range of Firewall vendors (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, McAfee)Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, IP address allocation & managementWAN installation/migration experience DesiredUnderstanding of security and secure environments.Strong understanding of enterprise storage, backup and network configurationsExperience of Cisco Nexus and Cisco 6500/4500 series switches.Experience of Multi Context firewall environments such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet VDOMs, Checkpoint VSX.Ability to implement High Availability Multi-Vendor Enterprise Telecoms Solutions (Including but not limited to Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Macfee) Infra Project Consultant | 3 month contract | Inside IR35 | Start ASAPIf you like the sound of the role or know someone who would, regardless of experience, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me!
