As an Azure Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilites:

• Develop big data applications using Google BigQuery.
• Develop ingestion pipelines and patterns for data sources in various technology stacks (Python, Java) and using various tools and services (Apache AirFlow, Striim).
• Develops testing harness implementation, and automation to verify data integrity throughout the development process.
• Develops microservice application code using C# within a Dockerized Kubernetes deployed application environment. This is done in collaboration with business and technology teams for internal and external client software solutions.
• Develops program specifications for code development and support on multiple projects/issues with a wide understanding of the application space to better align interactions and technologies.
• Analyze, modify, and develop unit-tested code in order to develop concise application documentation. Performs integration testing and validation requirements for moderately complex code changes. Performs corrective measures for code deficiencies and escalates alternative proposals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
• Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data. Typically has an advanced knowledge and use of one or more back end languages such as C#, Java, etc. as well as Web Service and API Development
• Experience working with various relational and NoSQL Databases.

Operating Environments:

• Linux distributions including one or more for the following: Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, Amazon Linux, MacOS
• Microsoft Windows
• Database - Design and development with one or more of the following databases Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, Elastic Search
• Back-end technologies: C#, .NET, Python, Java
• Development Tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Intellij
• Integration and deployment Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
