Software Engineering Manager London to £120k

Software Engineering Manager (Node.js Microservices Cloud). Are you looking for a highly impactful Software Engineering Manager role where you'll have an influence on the design and architecture of highly complex FinTech products? Do you want to build a successful development team and build brand new products from scratch?

You could be joining a well-established SaaS company's London based tech hub as they expand into the European market.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will grow out a brand-new development team who will focus on a Greenfield project, designing and developing products within the expenses space for financial institutions across Europe using Node.js. You will initially be very hands-on however, as the team grows your focus will shift towards people management with responsibilities including team leadership, reviews, recruitment, training and mentoring, and design and architecture discussions.

You will split your time between the London office and remote working (or you can be fully office based). You will need to be in the office 5 days across every two weeks.

Requirements:

You have previous experience within Engineering Manager / Technical Leadership roles

You have a sound technical background using a range of technologies and tools (happy using Node.js going forward)

You have exceptional leadership qualities and ideally you have experience recruiting

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
