C# Developer - SQL / Financial Services - this is a long term contract opportunity for an experiebced .NET Developer with profound SQL, RISK and / or Asset Management knowledge to join a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:Contributing to the continued development of the Risk IT system stack into an agile architecture based on small loosely coupled services, in line with the company's longer-term IT strategyEnabling credit checking for the new Asset Management systemRolling out high-performance computing and credit checking to OpenShiftStrengthening the team's DevSec Ops as well as carrying out smaller system enhancements

Your experience/knowledge:Extensive C# development experience or strong Object-Oriented language skills such as Java or C++ and a willingness to work on a C# codebaseIdeally a background in the financial sectorA thorough understanding of common algorithms, data structures and design patternsHands-on competency with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server etc.

Your soft skills: Ability to break down a problem into small pieces and solve it
