WHAT TO EXPECT

We are looking for a Communications Analyst in Powertrain's Engineering Transformation team. You will lead transformation projects in Powertrain Engineering to improve processes and engagements.

As a Communications Analyst, you will be responsible for promoting and protecting Jaguar Land Rover and more specifically Powertrain Engineering, internally and externally to create an outstanding reputation as a responsible, innovative and sustainable global department, whilst ensuring absolute alignment with the company-wide PR Communications vision.

Powertrain use state of the art build, test and sign off facilities to provide the power and driving force behind our vehicles - using the combined expertise of our cross-functional teams to find the ideal balance between performance, sustainability and refinement, while responding to the rapidly changing environmental issues that shape our industry.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

* Ensuring the teams have everything they need to succeed in delivering work with agile methodologies
* Support the development of metrics and Agile ‘reporting' and lean governance alongside key project stakeholders
* Responsible for creating relationships with key stakeholders, developing positive relationships, and ensuring that service and process objectives are agreed
* Responsible for the development and operational delivery of outstanding PR communications and effectively delivering key messages for Powertrain Engineering via appropriate channels to targeted audiences and stakeholders both internally and externally
* Responsible for planning and delivering impactful department events, and conferences, taking the time to understand how to reach appropriate audiences in an impactful way
* Maintain an active interest in and knowledge of the automotive industry, relevant technologies and general news
* Prepare reports, presentations and management information for the leadership team and other stakeholders as requested

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* An understanding of Powertrain technologies and Electrification
* Effective communicator who can communicate complex ideas
* Proven communications skills, with experience working in a communications role
* Familiar with Engineering Communications
* Experienced with social media and aware of online trends
* Strong knowledge of IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Being able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way
* Experience in working in an Agile environment
* Experience in the production and management of content and events, including photo and film shoots
