Technical Business Analyst, this job offers you an amazing opportunity to work with an Irish Fintech start-up (very successful, outstanding list of existing customers, household names). They are financially secure, receiving significant funding and are due to triple in size over the next 12 - 18 months. Questions is are you motivated to join a small fast paced team and learn and expand your knowledge ?This friendly collaborative environment promotes autonomy for you to self-manage your time. Overtime is not encouraged, they have quick software release turnaround times incorporating a lightweight Scrum / Agile process and methodology. Greenfield development environment, SaaS Product Company using all modern technology. In this role you will work very closely with the CTO and Head of Product.
Their offices are based in Dublin City. They would like you to be able to attend the office at least once every 2 weeks.
Salary: Up to EUR55,000You will
Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) well
Must have worked closely with Software Developers in an Agile environment ( ideally in a product environment)
You will be given business requirements from the Product Manager.
You will work closely with the Scrum team to break the features into user stories and define the acceptance criteria.
You will be comfortable with and have good documentation skills.
Previous experience using Jira or AzureDevOps or similar.
You will understand API's. Not at an over technical level but you will understand them.
This is a fast paced environment, where communicational skills are key.
Any knowledge of Open Banking or PSD2 would be amazingWhat will you be doing in this Technical Business Analyst role
Develop a deep knowledge of various business platforms to help document and improve their processes
Become a domain expert and develop internal communication that helps teams work more efficiently and reliably.
Prioritise and drive projects to completion working with stakeholders in various departments (Product, Development, Support, Sales etc).
Independently review requests and troubleshoot issues to understand technical deficiencies of the product.
Define root causes, and implement proactive resolution design.
Perform analysis on third party integrations.
Analyse platform level metrics.
User-level testing to augment automated tests will be required before major releases.
Work closely with development teams during scrum ceremonies and help to ensure that sprint cycles stay on track.
