Putting the transformative power of digital healthcare into the hands of patients, safely. It's fair to say we are passionate about health apps. Digital health is rapidly emerging as the major new frontier in healthcare delivery globally and we are at the forefront of this fast moving and exhilarating environment. What is an Agile Delivery Lead? The ideal candidate will have a background in on-time, structured delivery, with all the experience required to be a trusted delivery professional. More importantly, they will also be a converted agile expert and coach. At ORCHA, we're agile evangelists, but that doesn't fly in the face of fix date delivery for some of our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will understand how to shape delivery practices that benefit from the fullest of agile approaches, working with Tech Leads, Product Leads and stakeholders. But they will also understand how to achieve the pace and discipline required in a growing, fast paced company where timing matters. Their background might be a wealth of experience in waterfall projects with evidenced deliveries where they were the driver for hitting the deadlines - which shifted over to more recent agile experience, with all it's powerful advantages, but not losing touch with how dates are achieved without skipping on quality and the fit of the solution to the users' needs. We want to find someone who is super organised and yet agile in mindset and gets the importance of both. What do you need to be successful for the role?
Expertise in Agile Delivery and Coaching across a number of teams/companies where you have owned delivery as a discipline and shaped its success.
End to end experience in an Agile Delivery Lead or Head of Delivery role. You will be experienced enough to know that agile can deliver to fixed dates as much as to ongoing incremental innovation and have experience of both.
Experience as the owner of the delivery discipline with strong evidence for shaping the mindset/practices/processes of a digital team to deliver value continuously at pace.
Great stakeholder management experience and style.
Experience working with Product Managers to help shape their roadmap for the delivery elements and linking that to wider business stakeholders roles within your plans.
Agile Coaching experience to guide teams on their journey to Continuously Improve. This might start by changing some of the basics that are currently in place. ScrumMaster experience across a number of teams. We have 3 teams, with 4-5 devs in each. Currently Tech Leads and QA Leads carry the ScrumMaster role, we need you to come and role your sleeves up to lead by example, leaving behind self-organising teams, but being able to spread yourself across teams to unblock the hardest of blockers, but giving them the tools to unblock themselves where possible.
