WHAT TO EXPECT

This opportunity is to join our Assisted and Automated Driving team as a Lead Software Architect. You will deliver next generation software technologies across present and future AAD software projects.

You will be the Lead Software Architect and act as the Technical Leader on these innovative solutions. You will provide technical support and assistance across the operational team on topics relating to the integration and harmonisation of multiple interconnected functions including issue resolution and objective data analysis.

You will take ownership of technical projects and be able to work cross functionally alongside a broad range of talented engineers within the function.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

As a Software Architect at Jaguar Land Rover you will have demonstrable experience working with Software Architecture and should feel confident leading projects from a technical point of view and also liaising with high level stakeholders. You should have relevant experience working with commodity/product delivery and related technologies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential:
* Significant Software Architecture experience on embedded systems
* Significant knowledge of systems architecture and associated technologies
* Significant experience of Software Development Life Cycle and associated processes
* Relevant experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance


Desirable:
* Multiple Software Language skills (C, C+, Python, Java, etc)
* Experience in Automotive Engineering Delivery and in solving complex technical issues using a structured approach
* Experience with software architecture tools
