DevOps/Infrastructure EngineerA leading Norwegian financial institution is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join their cloud solutions family in modernising and expanding core back-end systems. During the next decade they will heavily utilise cloud platforms, AWS/Azure, to remain at the forefront on FinTech innovation. You will be hands-on in an agile DevOps environment with a strong engineering culture to build and integrate innovative new services.You will join the integration and flow tech family, closely interacting with architects to build and maintain services on a CI/CD basis. You will learn the legacy systems and transpose core features into a standardised and reusable API; proving a self-service platform for the rest of your work family.You will work in a non-bureaucratic environment with autonomy, flexibility and recognition. As a senior engineer, you will liaise with a like-minded team to provide direction and advice to maintain a strong goal congruence. Being an innovative and prominent financial institution utilising everything from mainframes to cloud services, there is work on a variety of areas that will continuously challenge and develop your skills with growth opportunities to match. Role & ResponsibilitiesWork as part of the tech family, closely interacting with architects to build and maintain services on a CI/CD basis.Within a strong DevOps environment, you will learn the legacy systems within the firm to uncover requirements as they arise.Implement and maintain solutions build upon AWS/Azure cloudIntegration of micro-services, both synchronous and asynchronousYou will engineer high-performance, low-latency data-pipelines for events using Kafka. Skills & Qualifications:Experience configuring AWS cloud monitoring and alerts for resource availability and security. Confidence establishing multi-account deployment and management using AWS service control policies. University level software engineering/computer degree or qualified by qualification by experienceExperience with a range of Azure/AWS components (RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Transit Gateway, Sagemaker, Direct Connect, EKS). Strong knowledge of containerization tools such as: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Jenkins, Terraform would be beneficial.Strong knowledge of IAM technology and policies.
