Role Overview:

Writing great SQL, Why settle for anything else?Drawing out a Domain Model to spot complex data relationshipsJumping on a huddle with the team to discuss a tricky problemPair programming to fine-tune a particularly thorny querySpeaking with stakeholders to understand their needsBuilding relationships with your colleagues - mentoring them, and teaching things you've learnedPartnering with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Product Managers and Data Engineers to deliver robust data products What are we looking for?

You find data fascinating, and have previous experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar domainYou have an affinity for organisation; love spotting relationships between things and enjoy reasoning problems such as "flock is to birds, as herd is to [?]"You feel at home writing SQLYou're interested in using core Software Engineering principles, such as Automated Testing, CI/CD, Git Version Control and having a maintainable codebaseYou're passionate about learningYou're curious and ask questions about technologies and use initiative to figure things outYou like having ownership of your work and seeing it throughYou've got a point of view that you're willing to share but are low egoExperience with Snowflake, Microstrategy, GitHub + (GitHub Actions), CodePipeline + various ETL tools.
