A fast-growing British company is looking for a project engineer/manager to join their team due to recent business success. Responsibilities:

 Project management focusing on predictive maintenance products and services

Project management for monitoring hardware installation with site teams and monitoring projects with monitoring teamWork instruction development and Installation executionCustomer management and training (Technical part)Ensure projects are delivered to cost and margin targetsTrain/manage 3rd party contractors and ensure appropriate work permits are issuedWork closely with the global/AP engineering team to develop engineering solutions (QAQC, consultancy, etc.) to meet Chinese customer needs. Sales support for CMS and monitoring
CMS and monitoring technical support for Sales teamCustomer management (Technical part)Distributor training (Technical part) Deliver engineering services to customers including but not limited to smart sensor installation, portable vibration data collection and mechanical troubleshooting, engineering consulting project surveys, site surveys, root cause analysis.Hardware supply chain management (preferred)
Support hardware supply chain sourcing and supplier management.Work with different units to drive the H/W cost down and the continuous improvement (cost and quality) in their lifecycle.Prepare and manage documentation such as engineering drawings, quality control plan, and product validation plan.Support product certification in China/Global, such ISO 9001, CCC, UL, FCC, CE, and intrinsic safety (IS)Person Specification:
Around 5 years of working experience in the rotating machinery industryExperience in supplier/distributor managementField experience in the wind power industryBachelor’s degree or above in mechanical/electrical-related major (Masters ideal)Strong technical understanding of wind turbine major componentsAction-oriented; a practical and positive approach to problem solving and deliveryExcellent oral and written communication skillsEnglish listening and speaking skillsFlexible regarding working hours and travel according to business needsAble to climb wind turbines and lift tools/equipmentThe right to work in ChinaPlease contact Karen for more information.
