Junior Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

£25,000 - £30,000 + Training + Progression + Holidays + Pension

This company provides specialist operations and maintenance to solar farms across Europe. Their portfolio has continued to grow and is expecting to consistently expand over the coming years, requiring highly qualified individuals to continue providing an industry leading service.

In this role you will be supporting the managers while being trained on key functions of the business to fulfil individual client needs and ensure the efficient maintenance of solar sites. You will be collecting data, creating reports, assisting engineering works, and attending client meetings to build relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering or technical degree with a keen interest in renewable energy. They will be looking to grow their long term career in the solar sector and have a desire to continue learning and aim for a key management position within the business.

This is a brilliant opportunity to get into the rapidly expanding sector of solar making a key contribution towards carbon neutral targets and working towards an established project management position.

The role:

*Train towards independent project management

*Work closely with project managers to understand functions of the business and take on responsibilities

*Use of software to create reports and schedules to fulfil client requirements

*Attending sites to understand the effective deployment of engineers

The person:

*Degree in an engineering or technical discipline

*Experience in project management or renewable energy is advantageous

*Desire to work in the renewable energy sector

*Strong IT capabilities
