Our data team is responsible for helping us realise the value of data. That could mean anything from upskilling and training our people, to increasing our revenue through experimentation and personalisation. The list is truly endless.

In this role, you will:

Sitting in the Data Innovation function, this is a great opportunity for a Senior/Lead QA to join and build our Data QA team. You will contribute to the delivery of our data strategy while building the team.  You will be part of the Data team and work on domain specific data products in collaboration with business stakeholders, Data Strategists, Data Engineers, Platform Engineers and Data Scientists. 

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit and lead a small team of QAs across our data organisation (about 6 people) 

Drive the use of automation for testing to drive data quality across ITV

Work with the platform team to ensure infrastructure is tested

Collaborate with a cross functional team including Data Strategists, Data Scientists, business stakeholders and other Data Engineers to make data quality a integral part of the development process 

Contribute to the choice of tooling and help design best practices 

Work in an agile environment

We're looking for someone with the following:

Minimum Criteria:

Strong experience as a QA 

Experience with one of the following language Python, Java, Scala 

Strong Bash scripting skills 

Experience with CI/CD such as Jenkins 

Strong understanding of the data ecosystem 

Passion for learning new skills and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies

Key Criteria:

Experience with Machine Learning model testing 

Experience with Databricks and Spark
