This role entails...

We have an exciting opportunity for an Audience Specialist to help deliver our ambitious data strategy. This role will be hands-on, and you will be the default ‘super user' of our brand new CDP (Customer Data Platform) tool, to help unlock value through data for specific business use cases. 

You will be responsible for the overall operational management and maintenance of ITV's new CDP SaaS tool

Help define the governance of the tool and maintain a data dictionary/playbook or other appropriate documentation around how data should be stored and used

Maintain and manage all the segments in the CDP

Embed training, self-serve processes and ways of working across business domains, ensuring sufficient uptake of the platform

Contribute to and help coordinate the CDP QBRs, working closely with the vendor to gain the maximum value and where appropriate, feed into the future product development roadmap for ITVs use cases

Track and assume accountability for the platform day to day running costs, running ongoing ROI calculations and preparing analysis data

Collaborate with cross functional teams including data strategist, data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders (across Marketing, Commercial and Product teams) to drive projects forward

Work with the CDP Activation Lead to design and execute rapid testing and help others adopt an experimentation mindset within the CDP

Manage the reporting of the Audiences and campaign analysis

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria: 

Proven experience working with Martech or Adtech and has wider knowledge of the Marketing and Advertising landscape

Experience using CDPs, DMPs or similar tools, ideally across multiple business areas (i.e. Marketing and others)

Experience creating and managing audience segmentation and lookalike audiences

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate relevant stories with data

Experience training multiple teams

The Key role criteria is as follows: 

Well versed understanding of the current data protection regulations, cookies, GDPR as well as the upcoming privacy changes and implications

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and across multiple stakeholders

Deep understanding of audience use cases for media or marketing, with a proven track record in how to measure success

Experience in creating bespoke audience reports

Experience in creating and maintaining platform governance, including process flows and naming conventions

Experience in creating and managing integrations with downstream adtech or martech partners
