Technical Data Engineer (any ETL tool)

London or Telford office with Flexi working available

£50k - £75k - various roles and levels available + Good benefits / Training Budget

Full Time / Permanent

We have been asked to assist in the recruitment for a number of Technical Data Engineers at various levels of experience for our global consultancy client. Our client offers excellence in career growth, professional development, and a coveted personalised benefits package.

We see this as an exciting opportunity, where the selected candidate will have an excellent opportunity to expand their technical experience and also work on various different simultaneous projects / solutions utilising different technologies

You will be part of an Agile software delivery team working closely with software architects and supported by product managers, scrum masters and solutions architects. With additional client and key stakeholder interaction as required.

You will be working as part of an Agile software delivery team; typically delivering within an Agile Scrum framework.?

You will work on the full range of software engineering principles;?covering requirements gathering and analysis, solutions design, software coding and development, testing, implementation and?operational?support.?

This role is a unique chance to design, develop, test and support data and analytics software solutions, delivering key critical systems to the public sector.

We are interested in seeing candidates with experience of any of the following areas:

*Any ETL toolset will be considered

*Database (Oracle, RDS, Redshift, MySQL, Hadoop, Postgres, etc)

*Data modelling (Data Warehouse, Marts)

*Job Scheduling toolset (Job Scheduler, TWS, etc)

*Programming and scripting languages (PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Java, Python, Hive, HiveQL, HDFS, Impala, etc)

Interview process will be a 1 stage only 90 minute interview, decision will be given 2-3 working days later.
