What is Automation Testing?Automation testing is creating and developing a product or piece of software, and frequently putting it through its paces until you get it right.It's part of the product development cycle and is vitally important for ensuring the product/software is as good as you want it to be.Nowadays, testing has become more sophisticated and more advanced and companies have started to utilize automation testing to help ease the workload of the rest of the team and provide clear and accurate results.Benefits of automated testingManual testing of all workflows, scenarios, and fields is time-consuming and expensive. Moreover, it is difficult to test multilingual sites manually. Automated testing helps here and doesn't require any human intervention. For example, it's possible to run automated tests unattended (overnight). Automation boosts the speed of test execution and helps to increase test coverage, ultimately leading teams to build software of better quality. Moreover, manual testing can often become boring and error-prone. These problems are eliminated with the introduction of test automation.Typical responsibilities of a test automation developer include:Designing and writing test automation scriptsUsing test automation frameworksInvestigating problems in software as a result of testingWorking with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions The opportunityOver an initial 12-week training period, you'll learn the skills you need to become an Automation Tester. During this time, we'll support you to gain your industry certifications. We'll then place you with our client, to give you that all-important work experience that will help you stand out in the job market. As part of our commitment to creating incredible talent, we'll also provide you with your own personal career development coach, and a tailored learning and development plan so you'll feel confident as you get paid to work with our market-leading clients.Once you're trained and certified, you'll work with our client to design, engineer, and deliver elegant solutions that solve their business challenges.Who we're looking forThe role is open to candidates with at least one year of experience in any Object Oriented Programming methodology (Java preferred, but Javascript and C# experience will be considered). The ideal candidate will have experience as a Full Stack Developer, but would will also consider those with experience in Front End and Back End development.Ideally, candidates will also have some experience with the following:Experience working in an Agile environmentSome database experience or familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL)Some experience with TestingThe best candidates will have a desire to take their career path forward and move into architect or leadership positions in the future.
