C++ Software Engineer London to £150k

C++ Software Engineer / Developer (Low Latency C++ 20) *Remote UK*. Are you a technologist C++ Software Engineer seeking a new challenge? You could be working on complex algorithmic trading systems as part of a small, extremely talented engineering team where you will directly impact the bottom line and reap the rewards.

As a C++ Software Engineer you'll focus on enhancing low latency trading infrastructure including performance optimisation; exchange connectivity; market data infrastructure; back-testing tools; calculation engines; risk management and compliance monitoring systems. There are many technical challenges to tackle, you'll be working with a great deal of autonomy and using techniques such as Template Metaprogramming and socket programming.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process and you can work from home full-time with the caveat that you may need to go to the London office for occasional meetings.

Requirements:

You have advanced C++ multi-threaded programming skills, ideally C++14 and higher (you'll be using C++17 and C++20)

You have experience of working in a low latency environment

You're able to script with Python or Ruby

You're familiar with Template Metaprogramming

You have an analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

You achieved a 2.1 or above (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics preferred)

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
