Technical Lead London to £90k

Technical Lead (Scala Java Microservices Kotlin) *Remote*. Would you like to utilise your engineering and leadership skills within a hugely successful FinTech? Do you want to work fully remotely whilst being able to collaborate with a talented team?

As a Technical Lead, you will be leading 5 engineers within a newly defined team that focus solely on execution trading projects and have ownership of some of the company's core trading systems. You will strive to create a high performing engineering team and will provide exceptional line management to help them grow professionally and achieve technical excellence. Some of your duties will include: developing and maintaining non-functional aspects of the trading systems, mentoring team members and guiding their technical careers and defining and improving team processes to optimise efficiency.

You can work from anywhere within the UK for this position. The company offers a range of financial investment services to the public via their advanced technology platform which makes smart investing easier and accessible to all.

Requirements:

A solid software engineering background ideally using Scala (will also accept Java or Kotlin)

Experience as a lead providing line management to a technology team

Good knowledge of Microservices

An understanding of the trading domain

Fluent in English

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
