Role: Interim IT Service Transition Lead

Location: Maidenhead / Remote (3 days a week from home)

Rate: £650 Per Day

IR35: Inside IR35

Contract Length: 9 Months

I am currently working with a global Bio-Tech company who are looking for an interim IT Service Transition Lead to cover someone who is going on secondment for 9 months. This role will form part of the leadership team and for that reason they are looking for some who can oversea the work in a consultative manor offering education and guidance across a multitude of different projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills and also have worked in a business with compliant regulations.

Purpose of Role:This role has global responsibility for the IT Service Transition process across the group.Ensure that new services being transitioned into the groups Information & Technology (I&T) environment have formally agreed support parameters, including committed service levels & performance targets, and are operationally ready prior to service onboarding. Maintain the I&T Service Catalog and ensure new services are correctly onboarded before service commences. Direct project resources in ensuring that Service Introduction is considered in the early stages of, and throughout, the project lifecycle, including definition of non-functional requirements. Technical delivery is outsourced so this role provides internal oversight and direction to service providers in the delivery of these services.
