QA & Test Automation Lead Engineer

QA & Test Automation Lead engineer opportunity to join on the of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK. The company are market leaders of Supply Chain Technology and you will have the opportunity to Lead the QA Team.

QA & Test Automation Lead Engineer - Up to £65,000 + Benefits - Fully Remote

A successful candidate will be working in one of several project delivery teams as part of a department that includes 12 Software Developers and 4 QA Engineers. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark and work with like-minded individuals to achieve excellent Software delivery.

Your duties will include:

• Contribute to the product quality through implementation of agile QA principles
• Work with talented Software Developers to introduce and maintain Automated Acceptance Testing
• Own the various test/ QA environments in collaboration with the rest of the Technology team
• Lead the drive for Test Automation, developing and maintaining the company's Test Automation frameworks
• Solve the challenges in automating traditionally manual test scripts
• Support the QA analysts in the journey towards test automation - including devising a plan to mentor them and help them achieve their goals
• Lead knowledge sharing of test automation practices with the developers and rest of QA Team

The successful candidate will be an experienced agile test analyst with a proven track record of agile testing and test automation within a strong software delivery team. You will be responsible for developing and supporting the company's automated test frameworks. You will be building on the existing framework using SpecFlow for web-application automated acceptance testing and also responsible for solving new test automation challenges such as Mobile Device testing.

Experience Required:

• Solid understanding and experience of the agile software development lifecycle and agile testing
• Outstanding QA Testing skills, including test case design, test automation and test planning
• Have taken a lead role in driving test Automation in an agile software development team
• Leadership experience managing a QA function
• Technical skills and experienced with Test Automation tools - Gerkin, Specflow, Selenium etc
• Experience testing C# and also Test Automation experience with mobile frameworks - Apium etc
• Experience working with Behavior Driven Development
