C++ FX developer Investment Banking

We are looking for a C++developer with experience of high-performance/low latency development to work on front office FX systems for top investment bank.

The candidate must have the following skills and qualities:

• Strong C++ development skills, particularly high-performance/low latency development
• Highly motivated to work directly with traders and research
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience of messaging-based data distribution
• Proven ability to deliver front office systems
• A computer science/equivalent degree or equivalent experience
• Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges

Job Description

Based in London and part of the FX IT eTrading development team, this role involves working closely with the front office as part of a small team to:

- develop and maintain the pricing framework engine and distribution for the FX area (spot and forward)

- be part of the whole development lifecycle including analysis, architecture/design, development, testing and 2nd level support

The following would be helpful:

• Linux knowledge
• Experience in Java
• Experience of the FX business
• Enthusiasm to learn to use technologies as needed (eg SQL Server, WireShark, Python, ELK)

Inside IR35 ; Partly Remote/Hybrid working
