Are you an Automation or Controls Engineer who wants to focus more on your Project Management capabilities?A leading established automation services provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in the Bristol area. You would be able to work from home two days a week.They offer their customers a complete solution to fulfil the automation of any manufacturing process, working across multiple industries and completing systems of all shapes and sizes, including pharmaceutical, process industries, packaging and energy.All of their projects require bespoke solutions, so there will be a good variety of work and you would be project managing talented Automation Engineers to deliver PLC, HMI and SCADA software based projects. You don't need to have specific project management qualifications such as Prince 2, so as long as you've got some knowledge of controls software and an understanding of project management principles then this could be the role for you.

This role will work alongside existing Project Managers to manage the full project lifecycle from initial request to the finished handover. The Project Manager will be responsible for specifying and delivering projects to an agreed timescale and within an agreed budget. The role would also require skills in the planning and control of milestones, risk management, internal and external reporting, supplier management and quality control. You must be a team player who is decisive, adaptable and able to hold people to account.

This position would provide a salary of £50,000 - £65,000 with 25 days holiday and 5% pension contributions by the company.
