The Business Management Office (BMO) is the information hub for projects and programmes within the portfolio and involves tracking/reporting, assurance/quality control, information management, financial tracking, risk/issue tracking, change control, support and knowledge management/learning from experience. The BMO will add value through the knowledge, skills and experience of its staff.
The role is pivotal to ensure the required level of governance and control is applied to the complex project/programmes within the PM framework. The role will actively engage with their respective programme/project teams and boards on an ongoing basis to collect, collate and analyse the information required to effectively manage their programme/projects including reporting.

Responsabilities
Manage Project Governance meetings, including the updating of systems and logs following any governance decisions
Assist in the production of reports
Embed tools, processes and governance for all projects and programmes
Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with all relevant RSSB policies, processes and procedures, including the Common Project Framework (CPF), procurement policies, and any processes applicable to the project type
Provide training for changes to the CPF including governance processes, project planning, milestone reporting, and change management
Support in monitoring, planning and implementation of project risks, issues, benefits and lessons learned
Monitor Business Plan Commitment progress and escalate as required
Share best practises for project budgeting and scheduling within Microsoft Project and Business Central
Arrange inductions for new starters on internal processes, including the CPF, reporting, governance, risk management and resourcing
Qualifications
Experience of working in a project environment or in a Project Management Office (PMO) / Business Management Office (BMO)
Effective communication skills
Ability to interact effectively, cultivating trusted advisor working relationships with key stakeholders and team members
Ability to plan, prioritise, multitask and manage a significant workload
Relationship management experience; ability to interact, influence and negotiate with people at all levels
Organisation, time management and administrative skills
A proactive attitude towards change and ongoing focus on improvement
Attention to detail focussed
Proficient in using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
A commitment to RSSB's values and customer service
Proficient in using Power BI and Dynamics 365 Business Central (desirable)
