Can you deliver the IT infrastructure services our mission depends on?

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled IT infrastructure services professional to proactively develop, maintain and secure the IT systems staff across our charity depend on.

As an expert in cloud and on-premise infrastructure systems, you will lead the modernisation and adoption of cloud services while maintaining an excellent standard of service to colleagues across the organisation. You will have access to training, development and leadership to ensure your success.

We have been building stronger families since 1869 and today we work with more than 60,000 families in over 150 community-based services, as well as supporting thousands more through national programmes and grants.

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be directly responsible for:

- Resolving incidents in line with the ITIL based operations standards
- Establish root cause fixes in line with the ITIL based operations standards
- Deliver change in line with the ITIL based operations standards
- Ensure the operational maintenance of all Infrastructure Services
- Delivery of projects to maintain and transform Family Action Infrastructure Services
- Cyber Security
- Ensuring customers are updated in line with the ITIL based operations standards
- Perform proactive monitoring of all Family Action services
- Ensure agreed capacity and availability of systems is in line with SLA
- Maintain physical server infrastructure at sites in Hoddesdon and London
- Develop Azure Cloud Infrastructure, leading migration from Hoddesdon
- Produce clear and concise documentation to enable efficient knowledge transfer
- Ensure all technical actions are in line with the published Infrastructure/ Application architecture documents
- Perform administrative duties as specified by the IT Operations Manager
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers
- Provide 1-1 or group support to ensure efficient knowledge transfer
