Lead Game Programmer Leamington Spa to £75k

Lead Game Programmer / Developer (C# Unity) *Remote / WfH Flexible*. Do you have experience of developing video games? You could be progressing your career in a senior role at one of the UKs fastest growing games studios that has consistently been voted as the best place to work in the gaming industry.

As a Software Developer you'll utilise your experience to lead the design, development, testing and implementation of game code, working across the full development lifecycle to deliver on a strong pipeline of projects. You'll be hands-on with design and architecture as well as heading up a small team (approx. 6), providing 1-2-1s, career development, budgetary control and work prioritisation / allocation. You'll collaborate with designers and artists to create the highest possible quality and engaging game experiences for gamers worldwide.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well flexibility to work from home most of the time going forward, however, you may sometimes need to visit the office in Leamington Spa for team meet-ups where you can enjoy a range of first class facilities and all the latest kit.

Requirements:

You have strong C# and Unity programming experience

You have experience of working in the video games industry on console or mobile games, having shipped multiple AAA games

You have experience of providing technical / team leadership and mentoring others

You have a strong knowledge of industry standard development practices: source control, asset pipelines, issue tracking, external QA and localisation teams

You have experience with C++, low level optimisation, shader programming, physics or mathematics

You're collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for what you do
