Backend Developer Remote to £600 p/day

Backend Developer (Python Serverless Architecture Cloud Microservices API). Global FinTech that is building a brand new, disruptive open banking platform is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join their team for a 6-month contract.

As a Backend Developer, you will be working on a Greenfield project; designing and developing a cutting edge, AWS hosted application from scratch that combines a mobile banking app with a social platform to enable customers to easily communicate and transfer money. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and other technologists to provide APIs for mobile banking and instant messaging. 

This can be a fully remote role allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK on the basis that you can attend the London office one day a month. If you prefer an office environment, you can be based in London 5 days a week.

Requirements:

You have previous experience in backend development roles using Python

You have a proven track record of designing and architecting high quality, scalable systems

You have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (including algorithms and data structures) and have a degree in Computer Science or a STEM subject

You have an understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and architecture best practises

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
