Responsible for the reliability, process engineering, yield control, capital project execution, and continuous improvement of the production processEnsure all associates adhere to maintenance, production, and processing standardsPlan, coordinate and manage the activities of engineers engaged in production, and project workDirect, review, and approve the design, and changes to the equipment or the facilityAnalyse yield charts, historical data, maintenance, and production schedules in order to meet customer requirements and set monthly preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activitiesAnalyse the production variances that occur and investigate quality and production issuesMonitor work order system and parts inventory.Provide performance reviews as necessaryManage Key Supplier relationships Ensure constant material availability through volatile cycles of business demand Implement annual cost-saving strategies Partner with Product Development/New Product Introduction (NPI) to establish critical supplier partnerships and to ensure availability of next-generation supplier capabilitiesYour profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering highly preferredAt least 5 years working in a manufacturing environment as a manufacturing/engineering or production managerProduction and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production equipment and processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximising the effective manufacture and distribution of goodsAdministrative and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, employee relations, leadership techniques, in the coordination of people and resourcesExperience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other improvement philosophiesExperience leading teams, delivering resultsHands-on experience in managing high-volume semiconductor wafer/device manufacturing process will be highly desiredElectronics industry experience is idealFluent German is idealAPPLY NOW OR CONTACT ROBERTA WRIGHT FROM IC RESOURCES
