A unique and exciting opportunity for a Principal ASIC Architect to join a brand-new silicon design team as one of the first hires. This role can be based in Bristol, Cambridge or home-based. This company is comprised of some of industry’s very brightest minds within the processor development space. Their unique technology has gained huge traction in the market, and they are now looking to hire over 100 engineers this year, to fill two new UK design offices. As the Principal ASIC Architect your expertise and creativity will be key in helping to deliver and expand the company’s processor product roadmap. The Principal ASIC Architect will work as a technical lead, developing and owning the design and specification of high-performance core architecture, and working closely with the ASIC design and verification teams to implement processor designs. This role offers a lot of creativity and autonomy, and will suit someone with the following:A BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science or related discipline At least 10 years’ experience in industry, with an in-depth knowledge of Digital ASIC Design and VerificationStrong relevant knowledge and experience in CPU and core architecture developmentExcellent interpersonal skills to work well within this fast-growing team, as well as technical leadership ability For more information about this compelling opportunity or to apply, contact Caroline Pye at IC Resources.
