Senior Python Developer - Tier One InsurerRemote
The role is with one of the worlds leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.
About:
* Expert Python developer
* Duration: initially 6 Months
* Location: UK Based
Skills Required:
* Strong Python coding skills
* At least 3yrs experience working with Python, ideally on large, shared code bases
* These frameworks particularly beneficial: asyncio, aiohttp, twisted
* Experience with Cloud (AWS or GCP or Azure)
* Experience with web development - especially REST api
* Familiarity with Linux (shell scripts and the command-line)
Task:
* Replace two applications with secure alternatives
* Implement log capture on two systems
* Ensure log output is captured centrally
* Identify security-relevant events and ensure they are logged
* Ensure security-related messages are retained for sufficiently long period
