We have offices worldwide, and partners with Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, IBM and other global technology leaders.Position SummaryThe FinOps Analyst serves as a member of the Cloud Operations team within the Global Operations organization. This role has responsibilities across multiple areas related to AWS and Microsoft Azure public cloud financial operations (FinOps) and will work with teams such as Sales, Product Management, Account Management, Operations Management, and Finance. The FinOps Analyst will have high visibility to customers and will support customer financial/billing related topics both internally and externally. The position will also work with Sales Team to track and apply credits and credit memos for deals. Finally, they will also work with our Finance department to ensure all credits are being properly accounted for, including, but not limited to tracking of rebates, refunds, cash payments, and marketing development funds. ResponsibilitiesPartner with Customer Operations:Support account management team business reviews to provide data and financial analysis of impact of capacity reservations/ savings plan /right-sizingDevelop financial analysis of impact of capacity reservations and savings plans for customersAttend meetings with customers to explain mechanics and benefits of reservations, credit, and other financial/billing related topics as it pertains to AWS and AzureServe as the go-to resource to answer customer inquiries and billing disputesProvide guidance and information to internal teams regarding customer billing, right-sizing, and overall account recommendations25% client facing, 75% internal team supportPartner with Internal Operations:Assist with evaluation and ongoing maintenance of credits, reservations, and savings plan to help optimize internal consumption of AWS and Azure workloadsAnalyze, test, and support internal initiatives, projects, and products designed to enhance company tools and capabilitiesPartner with the Financial Department:Serve as additional SME (external to the Finance department) in all billing and finance related topics for AWS and AzureWork on special projects, billing disputes, and deep-level analysis as required QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree requiredExperience working in the infrastructure/hosting space, including prior experience with Public Cloud billing/financial analysisStrong finance background/ acumen and deep experience building Excel spreadsheet modelsHigh-level technical knowledge of Public Cloud services and tools, plus AWS Cloud Practitioner/Azure AZ900 certs or willing to obtain within first 6 monthsSolid experience using Tableau or other business analytics platformsEffective user of internal and external resources (SEs, execs, SMEs, integrated partners, etc.)Excellent listening, writing, communication, and presentation skillsSense of urgency and strong work ethic, self-motivated, and reliableComfortable working independently, as well as part of a team, as a situation requiresStrong interpersonal and influencing skills
