Top class opportunity, for a 3D Graphics Software Engineer, in Bristol to join a very well established graphics team which designs and develops 3D graphics processors that are used across a range of our clients products.
I am seeking an experienced software engineer with a proven background in embedded C/C++/Linux software design and implementation. 3D graphics experience is very useful. The successful Software Engineer will be developing drivers and related software for satellite, cable and IP set-top boxes, AndroidTV and TV dongles. Suitable Software Engineers will have strong track records and some of the following technical expertise:
Experience in embedded C and C++ and working with Linux toolchains is essential.
Linux kernel driver development.
OpenGL and Vulkan are useful, but from a 3D driver perspective.
Android and Wayland platform experience also useful.
Familiarity with SW development tools: git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Linux build servers for development, Jira for bug tracking.
