Swindon or Nottingham We are recruiting for a highly skilled technologist with experience across several technology domains but with an emphasis on the identity and integration space. You will play a vital role in ensuring our identity and integration services are delivered and managed aligned with the business's needs. Working closely with DDaT colleagues and suppliers, you will ensure the technical solutions evolve following the roadmap, remaining fit for purpose, and providing an acceptable balance of flexibility versus control. As the Identity Technical Lead, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing new services in the email and identity spaces, then transitioning them to delivery partners or arranging ongoing service delivery and ownership within the DDaT team. For services we have transitioned to delivery partners you will work closely with colleagues to ensure services are maintained and evolved according to the business's requirements. You'll need to be able to demonstrate the following Technical knowledge and skills in a range of IT areas with a focus on: - Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Azure AD conditional access Integration of SaaS applications, including SSO, Provisioning and API integration Federated authentication protocols and technologies (e.g. SAML, OpenID Connect, Shibboleth) Scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell or Python) and its use in managing Windows, O365, Azure technologies and RESTful APIs more broadly Manipulating data and automating processes Taking a problem or requirements specification and designing and implementing technical solutions Working with delivery partners to drive value and performance improvements in delivering continuous improvement in a relevant IT field Documentation and report writing skills to both technical and business audiences Evidence-based decision making and following processes and policies and challenging where appropriate Ability to adapt to changing priorities in an agile manner.
