IT Environment Manager We have an exciting opportunity available for an Environment Manager to join our client's Architecture Team as they continue on their strategy journey.The environments are within the Software Development space and are very Microsoft 365 centric (Dynamics 365 CRM & 0365). At present, each environment works in silos and not necessarily to their potential. Your job will be to define and manage each of these environments, optimising their availability, functionality and cost.You'll report to the Enterprise Architect, managing a 3rd party offshore DevOps team and will work alongside the Change & Release Manager, Project Managers, Developers, Operational Teams & Testers.We're looking for someone enthusiastic with previous experience in a similar role, good attention to detail and very good with Ms Excel as the role will require plenty of tracking & documenting of the activity of each of the environments (i.e., Key attributes, owner, software composition, content, cost, etc)Even though, these are technical environments, this is not a hands-on technical role where excellent analytical, stakeholder management, problem solving & communication skills are key. Our client is based in central Birmingham and offers a hybrid working environment where you will be required in the office 1 or 2 days per week (35 hour working week).
