Full Stack Developer London / WfH to £55k

Full Stack Developer / Junior Software Engineer (TypeScript React RoR PostgreSQL) *Hybrid WfH*. Would you like to progress your career at a FinTech financial services company, work with a range of technology and continually learn as part of a supportive Agile development team whilst gaining valuable knowledge of finance systems?

As a Full Stack Developer you'll gain exposure across the full technology stack of the core loans product which specialises in providing small, short-term, secured loans that allow people to improve their credit ratings.

The loan origination and servicing platform has been built using Ruby on Rails (with a PostgreSQL database backend) hosted entirely in AWS (Amazon Web Services). You'll be working across the full technology stack, the front end work will predominantly be done using TypeScript and JavaScript libraries (including React and Redux) and the back end in Ruby and core Java; you'll also gain exposure to DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. There are several upcoming Greenfield projects to get involved with working across the full technology stack; you'll be mentored within a collaborative Agile development environment.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process and you can work from home most of the time, visiting the office in South East London around once a week, there's a friendly and collaborative team environment that will enable you to develop to your full potential.

Requirements:

You're degree educated, 2.1 or above in Computer Science or closely related discipline

You have commercial / post-graduate experience with a full stack (i.e. web + backend) TypeScript / JavaScript, React/Redux frameworks, Ruby on Rails, Python and Django

You have a good knowledge of databases such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server

You have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for technology with the aptitude to pick up new technologies quickly

You're collaborative with great communication skills
