They currently provide business communication solutions to clients with customer profiles ranging from 10 to 1000 users, including primary schools, colleges, and GP practices. They're looking to continue expanding, with several strategic acquisitions planned for next year.

The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting network issues and internet access circuits, and be comfortable with networking infrastructure, including switching, routing, VLANs, and wireless. The right candidate will be highly motivated and be looking for a varied role in a company offering great benefits and progression.

The Role

*Designing/implementing networking infrastructure: LAN, WAN, switching and routing.

*Supporting infrastructure and troubleshooting infrastructure at client sites and remotely.

*Work alongside voice technicians to support cloud and on-premises IP voice systems.

*Personal development review and training plan.

*Office based in Birmingham, travel to customer sites across the Midlands and Southwest.

The Person

*Experience as a Network Engineer.

*Technically astute and comfortable with customer interaction.

*Experience troubleshooting network issues and internet access circuits,

*Experience with Cisco, HP and DrayTek routers/switches.

*Experience with network infrastructure.
