What's the role?

Do you share our passion for data quality, are an experienced financial services software developer with strong knowledge of the securities industry?

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have responsibility for delivering software features in our product.We'll trust you to: Take responsibility for the full software development life-cycle, from understanding the needs of the business through to coding to deployment and maintenance Drive the design and implementation of new product features, from inception through to production Work with new technologies, continuously improve our core productWhat we would like you to have: Software development experience in the securities industry (Index Data, Security Master, Pricing, Entity Data or Corporate Actions) A good understanding of Reference Data, Static Data, Market Data Experience of data feeds and formats from data providersWe'd love to see: Experiences at implementing APIs in a Micro services Architecture Proficient in Java, Python, SQL, DSL, Functional Programming, JavaScript Familiarity with Oracle, Elastic Search, or other NoSQL storage mechanisms Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as RMQ or Kafka Be willing to tackle on new challenges, learn new technologies quickly To find out more about Computer Futures please visit www.computerfutures.com Computer Futures, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy | Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
