Senior SQL Developer - £60k + Bonus & Benefits - Fully RemoteCompany:
A leading financial services corporation is currently recruiting several Senior Database Developer as they embark on data migration / cloud upgrade over the next 5 years. Our client is seeking several Senior Database Developers who have strong capabilities in T-SQL, ETL, Azure and SSIS but not limited to on a permanent contract basis paying up to £60,000 per annum + excellent benefits + generous bonus + remote working.
Role overview / responsibilities:
In this role, the work will include analysing business requirements and designing solutions to satisfy those use cases, analysing source systems, building ETL pipelines, resolving data quality issues and developing reporting and analytical layers.
Our client act's as a team so members are expected to periodically flex across the skills set from Analysis through to Development to Testing and Release to support solution delivery.
Working with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to plan development activity. For some tasks there will be an element of design required
Development activities using T-SQL for both ETL and building objects to support BI and Data Science teams
Package development using SSIS for ETL processes
Development will include;
Building ETL Pipelines
Adding to the core DWH Data Model
Creating Objects to help areas of the business to generate business value from the DWH Data Model
Contributing as part of the Agile team to design sessions, analysis of requirements and estimations
Technical skill set:
Previous work experience in experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for 2012 and above
Experience of Azure DevOps / Visual Studio TFS or proxies such as JIRA and GIT
Specialist knowledge of Data Management, Data Modelling and Data Warehousing concepts
SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (nice to have)
Development activities using T-SQL for both ETL and building objects to support BI and Data Science teams
Salary expectations:
£60,000 basic salary
