On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a SAP Finance Lead for a 6 months contract based Remotely.

Purpose of the Role:

The Finance Lead role is a key role in shaping and supporting the delivery and improvement of the Finance solutions within Client. This role will be involved in supporting the delivery of the business as usual service, the shaping of the roadmap and being a key stakeholder for programmes and projects.

As a SAP Finance Lead you will be responsible for:

Architecture and Design

• This role will contribute to and documenting the architecture.
• This role will contribute to and assuring key functional documentation.
• This role will contribute to clearly documented design patterns.
• This role will be responsible for understanding and promoting industry and vendor best practice.

BAU

• This role will contribute towards ensuring a high level of BAU service. In particular this role will contribute towards service planning and involvement in BAU issues would be by exception.
• This role will contribute and provide assistance with patch management, audit and high severity incident management.

Project Management

• This role will contribute towards effective programme and project delivery. The role will help shape the release plan and calendar, portfolio plan and the planning, governance and delivery of individual programmes and projects.

Delivery

• The role will be responsible for the quality of project Designs.
• The role will actively develop high level and conceptual designs and assure the detailed designs produced by other roles and parties.

What we require from the candidate:

1. The role requires strong finance process knowledge and awareness of industry best practice.
2. The role requires strong SAP product knowledge in the areas of Finance, Procurement and Billing
3. The role requires strong SAP delivery experience with large, complex organisations
4. The role requires strong experience in working with non SAP and SAP partner products to deliver solutions.
5. The role requires strong experience in working with offshore/outsourced system integrator relationships to provide both Business as Usual and Project Delivery.
6. The role requires strong experience of working with global, multi-entity operations including a range of legal entity types (wholly owned, JV etc)
7. The role requires very strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement at a range of levels in the organisation
