Front End Developer Remote / Oxford WfH to £75k

Front End Developer / Full Stack Software Engineer (React Data Visualisation) *Remote Hybrid WfH*. Are you a bright, ambitious Front End Developer with data visualisation experience? You could be progressing your career, working on intellectually and technically challenging projects within an R&D type environment that encourages knowledge sharing, continual learning and close collaboration at a growing Oxford based scientific software house.

As a Front End Developer you will design and develop core components of their flagship product used by the energy sector to discover and model fluid dynamics (e.g. oil reservoirs) with a focus on UI and Data Visualisation work although you will also gain exposure to the full tech stack. Collaborating with Product Managers you'll be able to contribute to product design discussions / decisions; you'll be problem solving and participating in peer code reviews as well as investigating and recommending new technologies.

Following a remote interview you can work from home full-time or ideally do a hybrid model in the office once a week / fortnight.

Requirements:

• You're degree educated having achieved a 2.1 or above, ideally in Computer Science, from a top tier university
• You have strong JavaScript and / or TypeScript experience
• You have a good knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.js
• You have some experience with an OO language, Java preferred although C++ or C# also considered
• You enjoy collaboratively problem solving, are naturally inquisitive and keen to learn
