The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a IT Solution Architect for a 6 months contract based in remote.Purpose of the Role:You will be empowered to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, vendors,and partners, in addition to key programmes and projects to provide clarity, oversight and direction, and maintain alignment with the target architecture. Operating at the forefront technology and services delivery you will proactively identify any relevant emergent technologies,work with the business to understand evolving needs, and think about how we can continually improve our services.As a IT Solution Architect you will be responsible for:Work closely with other architects to understand and deliver the agreed strategic outcomes for the Moments that Matter architecture functionEnsure solution architecture integrity throughout the change life cycle on projects and programmesEnsure that all solutions are fit for purpose, implementable, complete and align with maturing strategies and standardsSupport our digital transformation agenda with technical and business savvy consultancyWork closely with our suppliers / partners to support the development of solutions and to help inform the ongoing development of the Moments That Matter roadmapWhat we require from the candidate:Experience designing, developing,and deploying enterprise-scale solutions with exposure to multiple software vendors and technology platformsStrong understanding of application architecture and systems integration conceptsA strong understanding of application architecture best practices, existing and emerging technologiesKnowledge of professional software development life-cycle practicesBe capable of working cross-functionally to collaboratively build cohesive, deliverable,and manageable solutions; proactively identifying and resolving issues independently(a self-starter)Great communications skills (presentations, written, oral) which includes being able to translate complex technical topics into simpler concepts to cater for the target audience at all levels of the organisation This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
