Epidemiologist / Pharmaceutical Company / Contract / Hybrid working / £950 pd outside IR35 My client, a large pharmaceutical company, is looking for an experienced Epidemiologist to join their expanding team on an interim basis. What the role will entail:The role is focused on working on Real World Evidence studies and the execution of data. The main day to day will be overseeing certain studies and have a strong hands on approach in finalising projects and can build relationships with key stakeholders

My client is looking for the following skills and knowledge:

* You will have substantial experience in pharmacoepidemiology and/or disease epidemiology.

* Ph.D. or equivalent in epidemiology or related health science field and substantial experience in the health care environment. Alternatively, an MSc or MPH with consolidated experience in the health care environment.

* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in closely related academic epidemiological research

* Experience managing complex medical evidence plans

* Able to provide critical appraisal to study designs and published studies and US experience

* Sustained productivity in epidemiological research as manifest by successful design, execution, and publication of original epidemiological research relevant to drug discovery and development (e.g., drug safety) or commercialisation in peer-reviewed journal

* Sustained record of epidemiological productivity at a strategic as well as an operational level

* Emerging recognition by the external scientific communities as an expert in the application of epidemiology to areas relevant to drug development and commercialisation

* Able to effectively engage and consult with recognised key external scientific experts

They're offering a 12 month rolling contract; they are looking at taking someone immediately.
