Qualifications

* Educated to Bachelor degree level or holds relevant Professional qualifications

*Recognised architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF)

Experience and Knowledge

*Experience of working as a Data Architect

*HE experience desirable

*Ability to turn IT Language into something that the business can identify with

*Experience of shaping technology solutions for the business

*Wide and detailed current IT knowledge. Good awareness of current trends in technology

*Ability to work as part of a cross functional team

*Experience working within the Agile methodology

*Will have or acquire expertise in MuleSoft software

*Experience with Salesforce / Salesforce Marketing Cloud (desirable)

Key Accountabilities:

*Work with MuleSoft and UoP technical colleagues to agree design for and set up integration platform architecture

*Designs TO BE data model in collaboration with other stakeholders, ensuring that the model reflects business requirements

*Develops new interfaces in MuleSoft

*Creates technical documentation to agreed standards

*Carry out knowledge transfer to BAU team(s)

*Ensure solution compliance where possible to IT standards and policies including security, applications, data, hardware and networks.

*Propose or accept deviations from architectural principles where appropriate to meet University requirements

*Build credible relationships with key stakeholders: shaping ideas, influencing decisions, and identifying opportunities to exploit technologies

*Work with external suppliers, managing appropriate supplier / vendor engagement to meet objectives of the role

*Report delivery risks to appropriate managers and work across the IT teams to minimise or mitigate these.

?Provides advice on the transformation of data from one format/medium to another. Maintains and implements information handling procedures.

?Enables the availability, integrity and searchability of information through the application of formal data and metadata structures and protection measures.
