My client, a large, nationally recognised and market leading financial services business is looking for a passionate Project Manager to join their growing IT Applications team.

The Project Manager will manage and plan IT workstream activities and teams following standards, policies and agreements as required by a project and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

This a full time, permanent role paying a salary of circa £45,000 - £50,000 plus a bonus of roughly 15% and a comprehensive company benefits package.

This role can be primarily remote however you will need to commit to being in the West Midlands head office for a minimum of 1 day per week on average.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage, track and report on IT project activities in line with IT best practice, delivery governance and full SDLC.
• Build relationships with project and IT stakeholders, internal IT delivery teams and 3rd party service providers to ensure any agreed SLAs are effective and delivered to.
• Measure and implement IT project milestones engaging with IT Service Owners, Release Managers and Project Managers to ensure the project deliverables meet the agreed IT Service Delivery Standards.
• Lead and motivate IT project / delivery teams, in conjunction with Project Manager and IT Service Owner.
• Monitor and report on IT issues and risks in line with Risk Policy and IT Delivery Processes, keeping them visible and resolving or mitigating risks to protect project deliverables.

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Experience of leading IT delivery projects and teams and track record of successful IT project delivery.
• Experience of working with 3rd party service providers, ideally within a multivendor environment.
• Experience of establishing effective relationships with and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle. Ideally, with experience of leading Agile or other iterative based software development lifecycles.
• An understanding of Project Management framework and methodologies.
