Reporting directly into the Head of Cloud Operations, you will be working in one of the fastest growing and dynamic areas. You'll be supporting us in delivering an exceptional cloud infrastructure for all our customers, helping to define and establish a continuous delivery approach on their AWS cloud platform and will be working closely with other members of the agile community with the Bank. As a technical expert, we expect you to be able to coach and mentor junior team members and be able to provide recommendations for improvement to the Head of Cloud Operations.

Role & ResponsibilitiesHelp lead on the delivery of best in breed cloud services to Sainsbury's Bank.Deploy and configure production systems, with a particular focus on automation, ease of configuration, reduction of human error, repeatability and security.Collaborate with other DevOps Engineers to design, implement and evolve automated pipelines in the cloud.Provide coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues within the teamAct as a 'go to' person for the Head of Cloud Operations for any technical queriesTake a lead role in design, collaborating with product owners and architects to ensure that solutions help customers and achieve the Bank's goalsMonitor new features/functionality and assess their Ops implications to continuously improve services.Ensure Identity and Access Management controls are in place and strictly adhered toMonitor infrastructure by setting appropriate thresholds and react to event driven alerts appropriately.Discover and recommend ways to improve reliability and efficiencyMaintain an overarching service dashboard and reportingProduce and maintain documentation of support processes & resolutions to known operational issues.Participate in a 24/7 on call rota as requiredLine manage a team of Cloud EngineersWhat you need to know & show
