Apprenticeship Strategy Lead

Contract: 6 months

Location: Fully remote role

Rate: £345 Inside IR35

Role Description:

This crucial role will assess and define the resources and actions needed to expand apprenticeship schemes to maximise the opportunity for my client and make a sizeable contribution to diversity and social mobility.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Partner with company segments and functional leadership teams on their long-term talent agenda, assessing opportunities to expand the breadth of our apprenticeship schemes to meet identified needs and maximise diversity of talent.
• Review and report on current apprenticeship schemes, make proposals around how to increase diversity of talent
• Network externally with companies further along this journey and bring elements of their best practice into proposals
• Explore with existing and new providers to propose new and appropriate delivery models that meets the needs of the business and the learners
• Collaborate with TA Partners and others to propose an attraction strategy and pre-apprentice activities e.g., school programmes designed to attract diverse talent.
• Review and report on the current apprenticeship programme management and make recommendations around future resource needs.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge and proven experience in setting up apprenticeship schemes (required)
• Experience in, and passion for ED&I (I&D)
• Stakeholder management and project management experience
