Web Developer Remote / London to £100k

Web Developer / Polyglot (TDD Java JavaScript C# Kotlin Scala) *Remote*. Are you a talented Web Developer who has a passion for TDD and crafting clean, high quality code? As a Web Developer you'll work on a variety of client-based projects that span from Greenfield work for start-ups to building mission critical systems for large enterprise clients. You'll work closely with the client technology and development teams to train them in software craftsmanship and best software practises including clean code, TDD and BDD as well as overseeing the delivery of their projects. You'll need to be open to using a variety of technologies and frameworks, always using the best tool for the job at hand (including Java, C#, JavaScript, Scala, Kotlin and more!)

The company are remote first allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK however, they have offices in London and Manchester if you'd prefer to not work remotely. 

Requirements:

  • You're passionate about technology, seeing it as your craft and you always champion best software practises, in particular TDD
  • Experienced in some of the following: BDD, Pair Programming, Clean Code, Event Driven Architecture and Design
  • You come from any software engineering discipline (likely a Polyglot) as long as you are able or willing to use JavaScript and / or C#, Java, Scala, Clojure or Kotlin
  • Good knowledge of AWS (will consider Azure or GCP)
  • Excellent understanding of Agile methodology and CI/CD
  • Some team / technical leadership experience
  • Strong communication, collaboration and client facing skills
