Business Development Manager (Energy Efficiency)

Excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a well-established company that aims to maximise energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in both domestic and commercial properties.

This company has helped thousands of customers both in the commercial and domestic sector by providing energy efficiency solutions and cutting carbon and energy and water usage. They have gained lots of demand and aim to increase their influence with another environmentally-conscious and goal-driven team member.

In this role, the Business Development Manager will identify and generate new business opportunities, develop new sales strategies, and be a point of contact for business partners and clients in the drive for growth and profits in the company. The role comes with a generous salary with bonus commission for any new developments and projects acquired by them for the company. The role involves remote working, however, the candidate must be within 2 1/2 hours driving distance of the offices in Thetford as they may be asked to visit on occasion.

The ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy and energy efficient solutions with a strong background in business development. They will have experience building relationships with clients and being an ambassador for the company in the sustainability sector. An eco-conscious individual with great interpersonal skills and a passion for generating revenue and a continued influence across the UK is preferred.

The Role:

*Identify and generate new business opportunities for LED lighting, Solar PV, Heat Pumps and other renewables

*Develop and implement new sales strategies

*Create and effectively manage sales pipeline

*Liaise with business partners and clients in opening new doors for the company and contributing to growth plans

*Attend conferences and events and act as an ambassador of the company

*Remote working

The Person:

*Experience in renewable energy and energy efficient solutions with a strong background in business development.

*Experience building relationships with clients and being an ambassador for the company in the sustainability sector.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and a drive to build the company's influence
