Trainee Plant Operator (Industrial Processing / Renewable Energy)Wakefield£20,000 + Full Training + Pension + Holidays + Progression OpportunitiesAre you comfortable with hands-on work in an outdoors environment and looking to progress a long-term career with excellent security and prospects within a thriving industry?Based near Leeds this company is already a leading player in the wastewater and biogas industries and is now looking to expand their Operations and Maintenance team.In this role you will be working as part of a tight-knit operations team to ensure the safe, efficient and continuous running of a biogas plant. Full training will be provided and you will start off by taking responsibility for the site weighbridge, lab analysis of inbound materials and the data entry for such analyses.The ideal candidate will be happy with working in an outdoors and hands-on environment while also occasionally involving themselves in the more analytical side of the business.This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone with limited operations experience to progress their career significantly further within a successful business operating inside of the thriving Renewable Energy industry.The role:

* Coordinating, monitoring and overseeing deliveries of supplies to site

* Acting as weighbridge controller for inbound deliveries and inputting relevant date

* Carrying out testing for deliveries of organic feedstock supplies and analysing data

* Supporting site supervisor and site manager with coordination of operations team

The Person:

* Comfortable with hands-on work in an outdoors environment

* Physically fit

* Good level of ability in numeracy and data analysis

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
