Job title: Valuation Risk Management Consultant - Outside IR35Location: London - Hybrid with WFH
Daily Rate: £900 - £1,000 p/day
I am currently working with a leading London based, Asset Manager that are looking for a Valuation Risk Management Consultant to join their team ASAP.
They are a significant owner of complex and liquid assets (eg. Private debt and capital of various forms). Their investments are growing in scale and they are partnering with a greater variety of asset managers. Typically the primary valuation is performed by the asset managers and in some cases they outsource this activity.
The client are seeking to significantly increase capability and capacity in their oversight of the valuation of these assets given the growing scale and significance in the business and the risk it presents.
This role is to lead and contribute to the project developing this capability using direct knowledge and experience of the valuation of complex assets to the oversight of these valuations. This covers model, methodology, assumptions and controls.
Key Requirements:
* Significant valuation experience in valuation firm, asset manager, asset owner, bank or similar relating to complex assets.
* Analytical skills
* Attention to detail
* Challenging and collaborative with partner organisations
* Risk management
* Experience in working with private debt and private equitys
