Continuing to focus on its ongoing global expansion, strengthening its digital presence, hosting world-class seminars, and recognising the importance of investing in its people means that it's a very exciting time to get on board.Role & ResponsibilitiesTo design, build and deploy high-quality solutions across Chambers products, platforms, and applications, ensuring they meet data engineering and QA standards.To act as Technical Data Lead on a given project or area, being the point of expertise and ensuring standards and performance are met across the data engineering team.To manage a team of data engineers and promote engineering best practice.As a core member of our DB team, you will help in the implementation of our data strategy and transformation roadmap.The role is 50% hands-on data engineering work and 50% line management and mentoring work.Lead the development of technical specifications and architecture.Lead an innovative thinking process and encourage it in others.Skills & QualificationsExcellent knowledge of designing, constructing, administering, and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.Excellent knowledge of T-SQL programming.Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or similar data visualisation platforms.Good exposure to Data Warehouse technologies ideally around Azure.Proven track record of leading development projects and teams.A passionate data engineer with a history of driving his or her own technical and professional development.A Proactive attitude.
